Regulators have required life insurance companies in India to cover people with HIV, The Wall Street Journal reports. Also, insurers must continue to provide coverage to people who become HIV positive after they purchase their policies. The new rules begin April 1, 2014. Currently, only one company in the country offers life insurance for people living with the virus. India has about 2 million HIV-positive people.
