A court in China has dismissed a lawsuit by a gay managainst the Red Cross, AFP reports. The man claimed that his blood donation wasrefused because he was gay. State media say the lawsuit was the first of itskind. Regulations issued by China’s health ministry say that “homosexuals andthose with multiple sex partners” cannot be donors. The United States also bansblood donations by men who have sex with men.
