A federal judge has decided the lawsuit brought against the Milton Hershey School for allegedly denying admission to a 13-year-old boy because he has HIV will be heard in a Philadelphia court, Philly.com reports. The boy filed suit in federal court in Philadelphia. The school submitted a motion to relocate the case to Pennsylvania’s capital Harrisburg, arguing that it would be more convenient for witnesses since the school is located in nearby Hershey. The Hershey Trust Company, the largest single shareholder and beneficiary of the candy-making Hershey Company, supports the independently run private boarding school, which serves financially disadvantaged youth.
