Lifebeat, the nonprofit organization that uses the power of music to educate young people about HIV/AIDS, partnered with BET, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, KWL and the Angels With Heart Foundation for Lifebeat @ The BET Awards 2011 on June 24 at Playhouse in Hollywood, California.

The event featured a special acoustic performance from BET Award winner and Grammy nominated artist Trey Songz and included appearances from BET Awards 2011 Best Female Hip-Hop Artist nominee Lola Monroe, BET Networks CEO Debra Lee, Terrence J of BET’s 106 & Park and NeNe Leakes from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Proceeds from the party benefited Lifebeat.
